The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an international call by the United Nations to combat poverty worldwide, protect our world, and enable all people to live in peace and prosperity by 2030, were put into effect in 2015.

The 17 SDGs in total are interactive – steps taken for any goal will affect other goals, and development must necessarily balance social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

Interview with our founder Yusuf Furkan Ergür

Our initiative emerged as a result of my curiosity in the automotive sector. While examining the technology of spraying water into the combustion chamber used in automotives, we realized that the CO+H2O=>CO2+H2 reaction was carried out in engines. However, this reaction was carried out at conditions far from the ideal temperature of 227 degrees. This reaction was carried out at 700 degrees during combustion. This was the case in both the Ford Escord RS and BMW M4 GTS models. We associated the reason for this reaction in the engine with the lack of a unit that separates hydrogen. The only thing missing for this reaction to be carried out at its ideal temperature in the exhaust was to separate hydrogen from other gases. We worked on this issue and created the membrane that separates hydrogen from all other gases. Thanks to this membrane, hydrogen could be filtered purely from all other gases.

Since we found this membrane thanks to the automotive sector, we first thought of using it there. Brisa was the pioneer of the journey and we received an award by making a hydrogen hybrid vehicle, a first in the world. Then, when we wanted to apply this product to existing cars, we encountered a very big problem after dozens of successful tests. In our system, hydrogen gas was only present when the vehicle was running. However, all safety and crash tests were performed while the vehicle was closed. This meant that if we wanted to try this system, we would have to recreate all the safety tests. No automotive company rightfully took such a difficult action. While we were in this disappointment, we paid attention to the factory chimneys during our Safranbolu trip one day. They were actually big car exhausts. For this exact reason, we decided to turn our project towards heavy industry and convinced a cement factory to implement our project and managed to create and separate 650 cubic meters of hydrogen in the chimney of the cement factory thanks to our patented membrane. Later, due to the difficulties in explaining this product, we decided to use this membrane in a second product. This is the electrolysis device that is currently on the agenda of the whole world. In electrolysis devices, electricity is used for two purposes. The first of these is to break down water into hydrogen and oxygen, and the second is to separate these two gases. When we separate these two gases not with electricity as in current methods, but with the membrane we use in the chimney, we have created an electrolysis product that produces the same hydrogen gas with 50% less energy. Now, our commercialization process continues with both of our products.

Our products have just proven themselves. Getting investment up to this point would have reduced the value of the company. For this reason, we have just started looking for investment. However, we are closing the 3rd quarter of 2022 with a turnover of 300,000 USD by issuing the invoice for the first payments of our 2 industrial product sales.
